Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.

Warning: The people who have posted reviews stating that they don't have a full time instructor are true, don't thing these are a few disgruntled students. LaBaron in Overland Park, KS is not a good choice if you want to obtain quality teaching as the students must teach each other. If you don't know anything about nails, and the people who are in class before you don't have an instructor, how can they teach you? Also, they have hired a Cosmetologist who hasn't done a single nail enhancement in 5 years as the nail instructor. That, in my book, does not constitute at teacher. They are quite unprofessional and seem to be only about the money. The owner of the school is rarely there, and when she is, all she does it talk on the phone in her office or brag about what she does with the money she gets from the school (such as her vacations and activities with her family). All in all, find somewhere else to go to school at. Just don't go to Transformed Barber-Cosmetology either because they are not "the best".Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
