Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This index doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Kaplan University-Cedar Rapids Campus
I finished my first degree about 10 years ago (LPN), enjoyed it so much went back for RN licensure, then bachelor's in nursing! Completed 3 programs, held my dream jobs in the hospital setting (ED) and LTC. Currently I am working as a nursing director in a LTC facility and I could not be happier with my choice of career, the paths I've chosen and the school that I owe it to! Im forever grateful for the education and the staff! Next up.....NP!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I love this school!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
The next "for-profit educator" that should be shut down, and the student's debts related to them should be.forgiven. And this location, a model for why that hould happen. The director is a racist farce, the "education" consists more of "Google it" than proper collegiate teaching. Wasted over $25,000 to end up ultimately with no degree, the obvious debt, and assurances from MANY business and real schools that the a degree from Kaplan is basically worthless, outside of their medical assistant program. And even that's a stretch. Save yourself the financial hit, and insanity that is Kaplan University.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
