Student Reviews and Ratings for Jenny Lea Academy of Cosmetology
I have always had a great experience getting my hair done here. Tanisha has been fantastic and done exactly what I asked for.My mother came to have her hair done and was not satisfied with her experience. We made a phone call and spoke to the staff there and they are more than willing to correct the issue free of charge. Thus far, everyone I've spoken to has been helpful in this process.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
When I tell you that I wake up and thank god that I don't had to go to that hell hole anymofe, I am not exaggerating. Went without a/c in the summer and heat in the winter... makes 15,000 a pop but can't fix the minor things. Mold in the building and a lunatic running the place. Honestly the mold has probably got to her brain... that or the lip injections bc that owner is dumber than a bag of rocks. Terrible person. Do not trust her, she only cares about money....Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
They do a very good job doing BLACK HAIR!!! and the girls are very nice & fast, BUT I donot recommend buying black hair products, I LOVE MIZANI HAIR OIL they charged me $28 for 1 bottle, and I went on line at Walmart & got 2 bottles for $20 the exact same thing, that's NOT cool to me, BUYER BEWARE!!!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Absolutely terrible... I took my daughter here yesterday and they botched her hair. I know that they are a school but 90% could have been avoided. We wanted a cut and color. The color was fantasy and the cut was just trimming the already established style. I even showed them a picture of her style originally (which was done at the same place last time). I did leave her there while they colored her hair. I came back as they were finishing washing her hair and going to start the cut so I waited in the waiting area. No one came to ask me anything. When the cut was done, they had shaved a lopsided heart into her hair! I did not approve of this. Also, her hair color was nothing like the picture and the cut was also lopsided and they cut more off the back than before. I was very upset and so they decided to talk bad about me in front of my daughter while I walked away to try to calm down. I did pay because I did not want to argue any longer. When I called back, they refused a refund and offered to "fix" the problem. She would have to bald on one side, shorter on the other, and color her hair even more. NOPE not going to touch her anymore. Stay away! Can't fix a big bald spot!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
