Student Reviews and Ratings for Jenny Lea Academy of Cosmetology
I had my hair colored at Jenny Lea Academy by Michael Deel. I am beyond impressed. He was very professional, talented, creative, educated with the techniques, and so very caring and thoughtful. It was like meeting someone that you automatically feel like you've known your whole life. An instructor, Mrs. Clark, assisted him with any questions and I was proud to see her not only offer guidance, but also encourage and support Michael as a cosmetology professional who is in training, but well on his way. I encourage anyone looking for a good cosmetologist who loves doing color to make an appointment with Michael Deel. He never wants anyone leaving his seat unhappy or not feeling beautiful.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I have received services from Cosmetology (hair), Aesthetic (eyebrows and facials) and Nail Tec students and always have great results. I will continue to receive services there and I buy gift cards for family and friends so they can come and see how great the services are. Great pricing! Wonderful staff!! And Fantastic students!! I went to Jenny Lea one time and that was enough! They were absolutely terrible. Me and my grandmother decided we would get our nails done there once. I know they are students and all but they could do so much better. When we were getting our nails done, my grandmother did not have her reading glasses on so she could not see what was happening with her nails. I went over to her because I got finished before her and my nails looked like pure trash. Anyways, I looked at her nails and was in shock. They had painted her fingers!! I asked her if she liked them and she replied with " I cannot see them" and in my mind I said well you don't want to. When we were finished, it was a discount day $5 off per person. We asked them if we could get the discount too. The lady at the desk said " No, you didn't get a manicure and a pedicure" but we did. We then asked Jenny Lea herself, because she was there that day, if we could get the discount, she said yes. The lady at the desk was awful and very rude about it. When we finally left we went home and I repainted my grandmothers nails and my nails and it looked 100 times better. Long story short don't go to Jenny Lea. This is not Devon Smith.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I have always had a great experience getting my hair done here. Tanisha has been fantastic and done exactly what I asked for.My mother came to have her hair done and was not satisfied with her experience. We made a phone call and spoke to the staff there and they are more than willing to correct the issue free of charge. Thus far, everyone I've spoken to has been helpful in this process.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
