Ivy Tech Community College graduation rate is below the national average.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Ivy Tech Community College is 18:1, that means that for every 18 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Ivy Tech Community College
I went to this school 8 years ago and was unable to complete two semesters. After recently trying to apply- they tell me I have to pay out of pocket for my courses for two full term semesters. Pretty crappy that it’s been almost a decade since I’ve taken classes and keep getting denied because of classes I dropped when I was underage. Every time I write the administration about this when I reapply and explain my past and current situation - they deny me from receiving fafsa. I shouldn’t have to pay for that many classes, I cannot afford that nor would many whom are applying for a COMMUNITY college in the first place. TIRED of trying with this school, just a disappointment over and over for a mistake made a decade ago.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I really love this school. Everyone answers every question I have. I highly recommend this college! They are very military friendly and I love them for that. Thank you so much Ivy Tech.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Staff in office is super friendly and are enthusiastic to help students. Teachers are great so far. Im a freshman though.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
The classes are amazing and the professors for the most part are just as awesome. I did not do well in high school and I have gotten all A's through this school. The ONLY reason I would not recommended Ivy Tech is because of their financial aid. I have been in tears twice now for both years of dealing with financial aid because of what a nightmare it has been. The communication if something is wrong is 0. You have to literally chase them down to make sure that everything is okay. And if it's not they are not helpful in fixing the problem. Don't expect them to make it an easy and painless experience with the financial aid department.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Absolutely appalling. I'm a student from an instate university and I was looking to take a summer class here. I contacted the admissions counselor, Megan Melissa Juchcinski, in April about a class starting in June. I had all the necessary papers and I was told that I would be contacted later about the next steps for enrollment. I was not. I tried reaching out again to Megan about my status during the middle of May but I was again left unanswered. So here I sit, in June, not having heard a word from Ivy Tech since our initial correspondence. I wish I was notified about whatever the issue was in my registration because even that courtesy would have made me willing to attempt to take another summer class through this institution in a later year. Overall, I am incredibly displeased with how I was treated during this ordeal and cannot under any circumstances recommend this institution to anyone if this is how they are willing to treat people.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
