    BELOW AVERAGE

ITT Technical Institute-Nashville graduation rate is below the national average.

29% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to ITT Technical Institute-Nashville completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.

The "recruiter" was an ABSOLUTE jerk! He was very condescending and not helpful at all! Unfortunately after speaking with him I will not continue looking into ITT Tech.

Select Instructors actually knew what was being taught as well as actually teaching what we really needed to know. The programs were out of date so badly that we had to get free trials of the newer stuff just to learn what we would really use. The books were then thrown out simply because they would not work with the newer program. They also got rid of the degree I was going for just before I was able to graduate. I only had 1 class remaining.

      Overall Rating:

Classes were interesting but if you plan on transfering to another college it is horrible. because it is regionally accredited MOST schools will not accept credits from them. I joined the military with plans to return to school once I settled in at a duty station. I dont have a degree and the credits wont transfer anywhere. on top of that I owe around $20,000 in student loans. But when I went to financial aid to have them differ my loans for me they niglected to notify me that the loan through the school that I had would not be differed which ended up in collections

You get out what you put in. If you want it all handed to you with no work, then go somewhere else. This is a place where hard work pays off and if ou cant handle it then go somewhere that will accept whimps. I put in 110% and have recieved much respect.

This place is a joke, there are only a handfull of people who work hard here and I give them credit. The rest of them are deceitful, lying, greedy people that promise you the future and deliver nothing. The Administrative staff is incompetent. Chad in career services was the only person who did his job well. Select teachers actually know the material they are teaching and don't completely follow the teachers "Script". In the end, it is an expensive degree that does NOT help you get that fabulous job you were hoping for. It is just an expensive mistake. Speaking of expensive, they already sent me to collection after being out for a week, just got my first collection call.
