The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Houston Community College is 24:1, that means that for every 24 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Houston Community College
Library never answers the phone at all, they are always "busy", and even though I tell the registration lady that I'm willing to wait she just hangs up on me, totally professional.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Great place to further your education!!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
This school makes me miss San Jac. No one ever answers the phones and if they do, they don’t give helpful information (they don't know a clear answer for anything and will steer you in the wrong direction), the bookstore closes early and is usually out of stock, teacher choices are vague, NEVER any parking, lots of construction. Don’t waste your money. Edited to add: I called to make a complaint about how the staff is not very helpful or nice when assisting with information (after being hung up on once and then scalded next) and the person I called to make the complaint about was the person who "resolved" the complaint. Of course. I attached the screenshots of her response as well.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Glad I did not waste time attending this establishment with these ghettobirds. By their account photo, I assume they’ve been hacked.... imagine student info getting into the wrong hands smhSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
while waiting for my wife, I took my sister (middle school student) with me to the computer lab because she just want to have a computer to do her homework. The lady on the front desk said my sister cannot be in the lab and she asked her to go out.My sister told me that: “OMG, That was so rude. I will never go to this school anymore!”Regards.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
