Graduation Rate

Hopkinsville Community College graduation rate is below the national average.

20% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Hopkinsville Community College completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.

They have great solar eclipses at HCC. For such a small town, the traffic was pretty heavy, though. The restrooms are clean, the staff I encountered was terrifically friendly and helpful, and if they ever host more eclipse parties, I'll put it on my list, if I'm still alive.

Drove here to scope out a nice spot for the 2017 solar eclipse. College looks clean and parking lot looks decent for a CC.

Had a wonderful experience at this school. I was always assisted in a timely manner. I did go the Fort Campbell location though, never had to go to the main campus much. Graduated and time to move on

I really love it. I am hating that I had to cancel my Classes today. My first 8 wks were very great, my teachers opened some new experiences into my life and look forward to many more

Overall Rating:

I have been communicating with Ms. Deloria Scott for the past few months over the phone. I am in the midst of the overwhelming process of moving cross-country and enrolling in a new school. I had plenty of questions for Ms. Scott and she always was able to help me out and answer all of my questions with her positive attitude toward her job. Although I have not attended HCC just yet, I am confident that if the quality of education is half as good as the customer service I will be satisfied.
