ABOVE AVERAGE

Henris School of Hair Design graduation rate is above the national average.

70% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Henris School of Hair Design completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.

Overall Rating:

I also don't agree with the first two ratings. I am a graduate of Henri's and had an excellent experience there. It's all about what you put in and what you make of it. I witnessed so many rude students that treated not only Mark and Debbie horribly, but the teachers as well. Most of the these "students" would cop a major attitude when asked to do a service on a customer, to the point where I would wonder why they were even attending school to begin with since they never wanted to do anything other then things to their own hair. Mark is a color specialist and is really knowledgeable in that area in addition to being an excellent hair dresser. He was always super helpful to me whenever I asked for it. Whenever someone shows sincere interest he really will go above and beyond to explain things and help you. I too found a job as soon as I graduated, and in fact the salon I worked at started me at a higher pay-tier because I was a Henri's graduate and she knew the good reputation the school had. I would recommend this school to anyone who actually wanted to learn something and come out well prepared.

Overall Rating:

I attended this school and had a great experience there. I have been a stylist for almost 4 years now and I have had a job since I graduated. The teachers helped me out whenever i needed it and were very patient. I finished school on my graduation date because I never skipped days. I don't agree with the reviews below. Mark is an excellent hair stylist and taught me everything I know about color. They are not all about their money, I never had to pay more than I was told because I actually attended school. So if you are looking to become a great hairdresser and start a career then this is the school for you.

Overall Rating:

I have personal experience at this so called "school". It's a joke. It's all about the money for the owners, Mark & Debbie. They are rude and unprofessional. I feel bad for those who go and those who plan to go to that "school". Their money will surely go to waste.

Overall Rating:

All in All the students do a great job. However watch out for the owner Mark, he is so rude, it's like he thinks he is running a top LA salon, obviously people who want/need to get their hair done there aren't looking for a snobby, "you're an idiot" attitude. Hopefully they will do your hair great, just hope you don't have to deal with this guy. Wow.
