Aren't you staff at Harrison real professional? What, did you spend 10 minutes making this nearly useless webpage. I feel bad for the peope who went there, but honestly I never would have went to a college on Jackpot Rd off of Stringtwon rd Grove City LOLSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
The instructors and staff are so loving and caring. They really care about your education, grades, and personal life as well. Very resourceful and a comfortable place to learn. I've obtained my associates degree with them and am currently working on my bachelor's degree now. Love it!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I have tried to work with their financial aid office for my daughter. They stated fasfa did an audit and wants $600+ dollars due to I am a single dad who had custody of both my daughters but still paid child support due to my income and their claim was that this could not happen and I could not claim having custody and paying child support both. (So much for being a stand up dad) I called fasfa direct and after about 2 hours of legwork had a direct contact and phone number to the lady at fasfa stating this was a false claim. I asked her to contact Harrison and she stated they were not allowed but Harrison could contact her direct. I then called the Grove City branch and explained to the young lady that Harrison was wrong and if they would contact the lady at fasfa the lady would explain this. She then submitted this to her supervisor which in turn responded they were not wrong, I was, but yet flat refused to call fasfa. I called the lady at fasfa again and read her the e mail that was forwarded to me from the Grove City branch. She apologized and stated this was not the first time this school would not do their job. I then called Grove City branch and again was told she sent info to the main office and again was told I was basically lying. NOW the FUN part. Harrison will not release my daughters transcripts for the past two years due to they want me to pay them the $600 plus dollars. This is NOT a higher educational institute, it is nothing more that money grabbers. Very sad that they are in the Grove City community. I strongly suggest you do your homework on this institution before loosing money or getting hog tied by them. Over $600 dollars? I will end up paying these thieves but want it to be known what you will be dealing with up front. Very nice people in Grove City, but very lazy individuals at the main office. Sad they hold back young adults from trying to get ahead. As a parent, it feels like extortion.Should be a law against someone not doing their job! Again, over $600?! Really!!??Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
As a Student Ambassador I love being involved with Harrison. It is such a opened door policy and I feel comfortable talking to all instructors even if they do not teach the courses that are required for my career. It is a second home for many of us and that is important to a lot of students when they may not have support through their way of school they can always rely on other peers and their instructors to check up on you and make sure if you need help with any help. Harrison has also been a big press on Well Connect which has helped many students get through their toughest times. I cannot explain enough how much warm feelings I get attending Harrison. You know when you wake up and you have that thought I will just do it tomorrow or I will make it up later, attending Harrison you do not feel that way you are wanting to get up and attend each class we make the best of it and it makes it feel like it goes by a lot quicker per quarter. If you are wanting to further your education and make that next step, step into Harrison College On Jackpot road and I am sure that one of the administrators will be glad to help you get everything you need and get you started on your journey!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
