Greenville Technical College graduation rate is below the national average.
9% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Greenville Technical College completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.
The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Greenville Technical College is 16:1, that means that for every 16 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Greenville Technical College
This is always a great place to come to events! I recommend Chautauqua! History Alive!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I agree with many previous reviews. From Admissions to Financial Aid is a pain at Tech. Many staff members are rude and snappy to potential and current students. I have seen it. It takes roughly 3 days to get everything done, then a trip to the IRS? to get registered??? Since when?? Many of us have jobs. They do not reimburse you for your lost wages from running around for 3 days to register. Not to mention the "Advising" day. The advisors were nice but they had me repeat classes that I did not need to repeat, which prolonged my time taking classes. Waste of money #1. Then they tell me because I transferred back in from out of state that many of my classes didn't transfer in. (But my previous college was a STATE college) And my GPA was lowered because of that and I was placed on appeals with Financial Aid. Before I ever took a class!!! This is a SCAM so that they can get you to obtain student loans (which Financial Aid does NOT tell you your signing up for) after you lose your pell grants that they control. Financial Aid does not explain ANYthing. They are rude. On to the instructors. Not all, but many instructors I had classes with do not care if you have any kind of life outside their class. They do NOT help you if you ask for help. Everyone, including higher up pass you off to someone else and there is most ALWAYS a snide comment or insinuation that it is YOUR fault if you can't pass a class or test or whatever your question to them was. They rarely answer a question directly. I had instructors disregard when I showed them specific problems on tests that were completely different in the book. I fill out the surveys every semester and it does not help. They let the instructors run their classes how they choose. Nothing is uniform. They will also gladly let you fail a course as many times as it takes obviously- and take your money every time. They can bump up someones grade if they want, and fail another. Who do they have to report to? The numerous bad reviews prove that they report to no-one. It's all a money making scheme at Greenville Tech. I will not send my children here.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Graphic engineering and welding big disappointments. Instructor s in love with own voices. Got my dream job without them. Funny now I look back a year at it. Piedmont tech way to go trust me I'm 37 years old been through it. I'm ex law enforcement, quite sure I'm smarter than average person. This place had poor customer service, and teachers that were sub par. Only thing that rescued me on my job application was previous experience and currently enrolled in college. Plus corporal stripes and eagle scout. Got dream job though no thanks to many disappointments from greenville tech. Never give up!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
This is a great school and is very affordable. If you are not a procrastinator and you get all of your work done on time, you study, and you don't waste time you will succeed in anything, including GTC. I am on my second semester, and i cannot find anything wrong with the school. The admissions and fin aid is fast at answering my questions, and all of the professors and administration answer their emails promptly. I love how small the classes are, and that we don't have school on Fridays. Couldn't be happier with a school at this moment.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
This is my last semester here at Greenville Tech, and I must say that I love the school. The instructors are friendly, and always willing to help. The classes are simple and provide enough challenge to pass easily while still learning, the campus is clean, organized, and looks great. My only complaint on this college is the financial aid, and business department. Both don’t know what they are doing and have made several mistakes with my stuff. However in the end it gets fixed, and everything goes on as it should.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
