Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This index doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at George C Wallace State Community College-Hanceville is 15:1, that means that for every 15 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Student Reviews and Ratings for George C Wallace State Community College-Hanceville
I began attending Wallace State in January 2016 in their Engineering Technologies Dept. I'm older than most students in this program. Todd Hardman , Blake Ray, and the rest of the staff showed extreme patience and understanding while I adjusted to a way of learning that was different to the "old school" way of teaching to which I was accustomed. Great school. Great faculty and staff, I would recommend this school to anyone.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I went here for three years. Changed my major a few times like most students and During my last semester I dropped two classes. They sent me a bill for $750. I paid it in full on time and yet they denied me for financial aid. The facility does not care about the students.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Great school with top notch programs and athletics! Highly recommended.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
An excellent college, I learned a lot and feel I was properly set up for what I wanted to do with my degree.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
My daughter plays softball at Wallace State Community College. She really likes if there because if she needs help with any of her classes they will help you and make sure that you understand it. She was on the Presidents list. It's just a great place for your child to goSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
