Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Galen College of Nursing-Louisville is 10:1, that means that for every 10 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Attending Galen has been the best experience. Everyone starting from Admissions has been extremely supportive and still supportive. Instructors/Professors are willing to go the extra mile just to help you succeed. It is worth every penny! Some of these negative reviews are ridiculous.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
So i am new to nursing, trying to find a good school to start with. My question is, is there anyone out there that has advice on the Louisville Campus? Or any helpful information. Thanks in advance.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
The hell with this school. They make the classes so freakin difficult so students can retake these expensive ass classes over and over again. They do not teach you all that's needed for each exams. They like to go through answers for the exams given in the prior day and kept apologizing that they were suppose to teach that before the past exam but because the school had a day off that day 95 percent of the failed almost all exams. Scoring 50 or below. I hate this school so freakin much I had no idea why I went there in the first place. Waste of my thousands of dollars. $355 dollars per credit hour and you need 108 credit hours to complete associate degree. Other schools only require 72 credit hours for asscosiate. I should have done my research before I enrolled but now I know.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
They are strictly about u profit. Tried to make me retake classes that were two years old with 3.5 GPA when transferring from JCC. Nice try GalenSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
