Graduation Rate

Frederick Community College graduation rate is below the national average.

22% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Frederick Community College completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.

A wonderful school

Overall Rating:

I loved it! One of the teachers made me hate what should have been my favorite class, but if you drop or switch before the deadline it’s not an issue. Some of the staff aren’t very helpful, but if you know how to navigate it almost everything can be done online.

Overall Rating:

If I could leave -5 stars I would. The teachers are uneducated, the curriculum is minimal, and my classes were being canceled left and right. Extremely unorganized staff and online system. Teachers would leave out key information and blame students for not taking notes. Everything is your fault according to this place. Pamela made my efforts to withdraw difficult, and waited until AFTER the semester was over to tell me I had basically no options for remedying my student bill. So now I owe thousands of dollars for classes I didn't even attend... students and teachers create a lot of peer pressure here as well too. For the quality of the schools I would recommend MCC or HCC instead. They have a much better setup and kinder staff.

Tons of resources and helpful staff that ensure success. I move a lot and have attended multiple community colleges. FCC is by far the most impressive.
