The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Fortis Institute-Wayne is 17:1, that means that for every 17 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Fortis Institute-Wayne
According to Maria I'm not taking my schooling serious because I rescheduled my financial aid appointment...."I'm cancelling your application because you're not taking this serious"...what??? Very offended. She's fake, rude & fiesty. I knew I should've gone to Cortiva. Oh wait I couldn't because after meeting Maria she pretty much forced me to pay the $25 application fee right after my tour of the school when I was only planning on just getting info about the MT program. But she made me feel obligated to start my admission process RIGHT then and there.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Fortis Institute is a great school if anyone is looking for the fast track to success in the trades dept. As a student who is now attending and has already graduated from one program already. I recommend this school to everyone looking for what they need to get their foot in the door of success.hands on hands on hands on....training and real world applicationsSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I am a Medical Professional that has worked with Fortis to staff the practice with which I work. I have found that the students are well educated and eager to begin their careers as a CMA. We have many students do their externship with our practice and have found many a permanent position within our company. Although the students are new they have captured the skills before graduation to initiate a long term career in the field. I recommend Fortis as a gateway to a career in medicine.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I have been a Clinical site for the past 16 years. My office (Perfect Smiles) in Totowa, NJ absolutely loves this program. We enjoy teaching the students when they arrive to my office. All of the students are highly trained when they arrive for their extern program. Anyone interested in this program I would tell them to proceed. The dental profession is a fun and rewarding career. After attending Fortis you will be ready to enter into this career and I'm sure you will agree with me.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I went here in 2009 when I was 20 years old. This school made every effort to make sure my learning experience was a good one, although I had an infant son at home. The teachers were all nice, although the admissions office lost all the paperwork they ever got their hands on. A select few in that office were nice, but overall, its a quality institution.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
