Graduation Rate

Fortis College-Ravenna graduation rate is below the national average.

50% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Fortis College-Ravenna completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This index doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Fortis College-Ravenna

Overall Rating:

Overall Rating:

I am halfway through my Associates Degree in Health Information Management at Fortis in Ravenna. I originally chose this school because of the short distance to my home, but recommend it for more than just its location. The teachers are wonderful, the administrators helpful and the fellow students are very friendly. It is exactly the type of supportive environment that I needed to regain my confidence in returning to school. We are young and old - we are a melting pot of diversity - yet we all share the common goal of securing a brighter financial future for ourselves and our families.

Overall Rating:

Loved the experience. The instructors were very helpful and very supportive. When we would get discouraged they were there to show us the light at the end of the tunnel. I would love to go back if they get an RN program. But I am a big supporter of Fortis and always refer people to go there. I couldn't ask for a better experience and loved all my instructors and my honor roll program. Very thankful for them for assisting me into becoming a great LPN and giving me a career I love. Thank you Fortis!!

Overall Rating:

Fortis College offers the combined benefits of a quality career focused education within a small scale, family oriented environment. Staff and faculty are engaged in all aspects of student success and get to know students on a one on one basis. The administrative leadership is very team oriented, and it is a pleasure to work with all of the students and staff alike. Fortis College is the best option for people of all ages who are turned off by the overwhelming size and lack of individual attention that is a product of large universities.

My training there gave me the tools I needed to launch my career in my chosen field. The staff and faculty of Fortis are very knowledgable as well as friendly and caring and the amount of support I received after I graduated was invaluable. They provided me with leads and interview tips so that I could put my best foot forward.I was able to get my certification in less time and I would recommend them for anyone who is serious about moving ahead in the medical field.
