Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Florida College of Natural Health-Pompano Beach is 25:1, that means that for every 25 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Student Reviews and Ratings for Florida College of Natural Health-Pompano Beach
Extremely unprofessional staff! Words can't explain how disappointed I and my classmates are. Very poor communication in between departments, and the list goes on and on. I finished basic skin care almost a month ago and almost 2 months later I'm still waiting on assistance to process the application for my aesthetic's license. Every time I call for an assistance or get to go to the office I get to deal with the ridiculously rude staff. A man named Junior who I'd suggest to work on his vocabulary and avoid saying "ya man" after every single sentence is very disturbing to deal with. First I'm not your man and 2nd you work in an educational facility. Check yourself. Who ever hired him at 1st place??? A girl named Jay who's supposobly handling the front desk, never ever knows anything you get to ask her. Ridiculous, ridiculous, ridiculous. I'm exhausted and can't wait to see some positive changes!!!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I gave this place a shot for 6 months. I feel like I wasted my money. The students don’t take the education seriously, the “teachers” don’t enforce rules but if and when they do, it is selective. It’s high school all over again. No respect is shown between the students. The quality of the education is not worth the money. The books are not grammatically correct, the material in the books is breezed over. It’s a “fast paced” environment. Get in get out. The inside of the school is run down and in disarray. The carpets are shredded and stained. It’s dusty. The walls are unbelievably dirty. The desks and chairs are painful to sit in and use. For a massage school, you would think they care about your body. There are high school games played among the staff. Popularity contests. There are better places around here for less and even better education. You just need to hours and knowledge to pass the MBLEx. Not this school.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I love this school. The education that you are paying for this school is WORTH it. All the educators are so full of wisdom and knowledge. They have continuing guidance even after you are graduated. I’ve been through the massage program, basic skin program, and paramedical skin program. The teachers truly TEACH you everything you need to know to become successful in this industry. Thank you so much.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I had a facial today. they were nice but it was not good at all. the student seemed too scared to extract the pimples on my face. like its the worst facial I have ever had and i get 2 facials a month at different schools. wont be returning.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I went and had my first ever European facial today and decided to hit up Groupon to find it! Ended up finding a deal for Cortiva Institute. $20! Let me say that I am ecstatic with the results and was so comfortable. The students are so professional and I'll definitely be going back for another one and possibly a massage. I'm a happy girl! Angelica was awesome!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
