Finger Lakes Community College graduation rate is below the national average.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This indicator doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Finger Lakes Community College is 22:1, that means that for every 22 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Finger Lakes Community College
Any community college is a waste of your time unless your going for a short term option. Otherwise, the advisors are LAZYYYY and have no clue how to do their job effectively! Sad honestly! And when you go to transfer your credits over...ALL C.C.s make you waste $ on things NOT needed to move onto a 4yr.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Great school good resources helpful teachers. Very knowledgeable and willing to go the extra bit to make sure you get what you need.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I waited on the phone 40 min because I was unable to register for my classes, because no one can effectively communicate. The IT people kept telling me there was something wrong with my browser. She did it herself and there wasn't. Then I get put over to another person and she tells me it is too early to register. When I talked to someone and they took off my holds on my account so I could register. This whole have to be advised before being able to register is not right. Isn't the intent to want to take classes ones own option. I honestly have received terrible service! I feel like not even attending !!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Great staff, great faculty, and a great value proposition for college. Community colleges are too often dismissed as a viable option for high school seniors. The reality is that community colleges are one of the best opportunities for incoming freshmen - they typically have a staff that can spend time with students, a price tag that is ultra-affordable, and a great place to spend the first two years of college. Finger Lakes is no exception to this, and it has the benefit of being nestled in the heart of the picturesque Finger Lakes region.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Was that CMAC the Sands Performing Arts Center ran into some trouble due to a miscommunication with the parking staff the people in charge cleared it up right away. Got to see The Who pretty much in my own backyard. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Terrific show good venueSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
