Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Fayetteville Technical Community College is 19:1, that means that for every 19 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

I attended FTCC in the Dental Assisting program I. 1996-1997. I Loved the school. I have also took several classes Early Childhood classes, Childcare Credentials 1 & 2. I'm sad to see so many bad reviews. I hope many are fake.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™

Went there to get information about a program., Went to the program deparment To get the needed information . Got to the door ladies were in there talking never acknowledge me looked at me they just kept right on talking. I left went to see if I could find someone to help me thought maybe I was at the wrong door A lady cleaning said I was at the right door so I went back And I said excuse me stood there about 2 minutes. Mind you I said excuse me I guess my excuse me mint nothing did not say ma'am I'll be with you in a minute they kept on talking And when I finally was acknowledge I told her I want to know about the nursing program She said what do you want to know I said everything she proceeded to tell me to go online. And her facial expression was like how dare you bother me . She basically just blew me off. I was warned that they were not helpful and will ignore you. from my experience it was true. Clearly in that department she forgot about her A I D ET!!!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Financial Aid staff Is not helpful. Goarmyed counselors in the military services office weren't either. I had a bad experience with an online course I took this past semester. The instructor would not reply to my emails or provide feedback of any sort. No lie, it took almost a month to get a relply (almost a month after the assignment was due) to get a response by then it was too late. Instructor also counted an assignment that was turned in on time as incomplete. I would avoid this school if you can. Campus location is nice since it's close to fort Bragg.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
FTCC is the equivalent of McDonald's for your education. It may be cheap but it is still bad for you. They have many students who have financial aid money go missing or issues with the financial department regarding classes not being paid for when they have been paid for. Lots of drugs on campus and fights that are unresolved by campus staff. The teachers lack any motivation and feel more forced to teach because it is their job than that they enjoy it.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
