Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Everest Institute-San Antonio is 41:1, that means that for every 41 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Student Reviews and Ratings for Everest Institute-San Antonio
I went to one of the Corinthians schools in Miami and switched to San Antonio campus as I was told I could to finish my education I was told they couldn't help me since they didn't have the program at that time then after alot of arguing I was told they would do my externship that never happened then they started collecting on an education I couldn't finish because of the Everest school. This was 2006 it's now 2018 and they are still trying to collect. This place is a joke I went to an actual college spent less money and got a better education. Oh and my instructor was a real teacher.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I attended this school in 2009 worst school to go to . Mostly the class mates of mine were potheads and ex convicts . The instructors did not care if we learned or not most of us finished school feeling like duh . The recruiter lady looked like an alcoholic she was going through explaining about the school like blah blah blah she said the school would provide us with expensive hvac tools snap on brand which ended up being cheap tools you find on finger hut . Found out later on that 2 instructors that worked there were hired on with no experience in HVAC they had lied in their resume that they had 15 yrs experience . It was later known that they were working for an ac company just ordering parts never had knowledge in fixing or servicing units . this is the real deal do not go to any institute including this one you're better off going to a community collage . there are very few big ac companies there's more smaller companies and they all want 5 yrs or more experience . Now I know why Everest changed their name they had a bad reputation .Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Worse “college” to ever go. They rip you off. Thousands of dollars for a 9 month program that’s worthless.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
As far as career colleges go, this place is top notch! Students get certified in the field of choice and graduate in 12 months. The faculty and staff prep them for interviews, help them write résumés, and guide them in job searches. For the price of one year of community college, these students finish in half the time and are immediately employable.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I strongly advise people not to go here.. Go to a community college.. Yea they accept you with open arms and take u in right away but its because you paying them good.. U better off getting a loan to buy a house then getting drugged up with debt for this school ... But in the end they do what you sign for, theyre good teachers and show you everything you need to know.. just pay the loans regardless if you have a job in that field or not .. I would give 5 stars but i dont even work in the hvac field and im still dealing with the student loans . if you have a good head with a clean record you can come up fast thoe..Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
