The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Everest Institute-Rochester is 21:1, that means that for every 21 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Everest Institute-Rochester
My posting is based on a position I applied for at Everest. I spoke to the director of admissions concerning the position at Everest through a phone-call. The phone call was cut-short and was stated that I will receive a phone-call earlier that following week. I never received a phone-call so I followed up with a few phone calls myself with no success in reaching her, but left multiple messages. I then followed up with many emails and even had my reference email her as well. To my surprise I still haven't received a response. That is even with considering that my reference is from another Everest branch. I am now concerned with the lack of follow-up this university portray's, and will not be recommending this university to anyone I know. If it's that difficult to take 2 minutes of your time to respond, then imagine the lack of follow through they may have with helping students achieve their goals that are attending this university.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I graduated from Everest in 2004 with two degrees - Computer Programming and Business Management. After a YEAR of trying to find a job and basically getting laughed at by employers who saw what I "learned" at Everest (then called RBI), I gave up and applied to Rochester Institute of Technology. I was accepted, and to my complete horror they said not one single credit could be transferred from Everest, because Everest is not an accredited college! NOT ACCREDITED! In other words, they have no business calling themselves a college. PLEASE do not go to Everest, please consider applying to a community college or state university first - you CAN do it! I didn't think I was cut out for a real college, yet I was accepted and graduated from RIT, an excellent school. If you can't get into a regular school or really don't want to, go to Bryant & Stratton College. They are excellent (I went there too!) and they are ACCREDITED!!! Bottom line - Everest is a waste of time and money and the education you receive is highly questionable. I kid you not, an employer LAUGHED in my face when they saw how few programming languages I learned at Everest, and the Everest "career center" is worthless.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
