Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Evans Hairstyling College-Cedar City is 7:1, that means that for every 7 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Student Reviews and Ratings for Evans Hairstyling College-Cedar City
It was an amazing time! The students/employees were super nice and very welcoming. They always had a nice compliment to each person and would always make sure that you are comfortable. Before the lady did my hair she asked the instructor on how to start and what to do on certain things. The instructors are very nice and welcoming, after she asked on what to do she went right into it and was focused on what she was doing! By the end she would ask if it was ok and if there was anything else she missed, I love how my hair turned out and the prices are incredible. The colors I wanted for my hair and the bleaching and toner would cost $230 at a hair salon or depending on the stylist but at Evans it was only $40 I thought they were joking! They weren’t joking I’m so happy for my hair and I guarantee you’ll be happy too!!! I’m definitely going to Evans for the rest of my life!!!!!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Definitely impressed. Running a place that takes care of students, customers, and everyday business operations has got to be a whirlwind for management. But the Evans family is the best and they take it in stride! They actually care about everyone who walks through their doors and do a great job at passing that mentality down to their students.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I attended Evans Hairstyling College and it was one of the best experiences I have. The instructors are amazing and so talented at what they do. The prices for clients are incredible and the service is amazing. Such a great place to be!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
My daughter graduated high school and was looking to go to hair school. I have family in Cedar City so we stopped by Evans. We didn’t have an appointment but the owner himself showed us around the school. He then took us into his office and answered any questions we had. He was very friendly and welcoming. I was very comfortable sending my daughter out of state to attend this school. She received a great education and had a wonderful experience at Evans. Thank youSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I LOVE Evan’s Hairstyling College!! I went to school here and it was some of the BEST memories I have!! It was such a fun environment and we learned so much too! One of the reasons I went there was because it was way more affordable than other schools and honestly, my first sit down with the owner, while looking into schools, made it already feel like my home away from home and that’s what made my decision!! If you are considering to go to school here, do it, or at least go check it out! You’ll love it and Derk Evans, the owner, is THE BEST!!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
