ABOVE AVERAGE

Evans Hairstyling College-Cedar City graduation rate is above the national average.

89% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Evans Hairstyling College-Cedar City completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.

I have always enjoyed my time! With a large variety of hair stylists I am always meeting new people! They are a hair college so not every guy or girl gives a perfect hair cut. But I almost always approve of their work.

Always a good experience. From ombres to perms to bangs to shags and trims, Evans students do a good job. Keep in mind, it is a school and they are learning but if you go in with a picture or can communicate openly what you want then you'll get it. Definitely budget friendly and a welcoming environment. Would recommend to anyone.Pictures show my shagg, ombre and perm.

Overall Rating:

Evans (cedar city) was an amazing cosmetology school. I had many schools to choose from in Las Vegas , my hometown. But Evans was by far the best. The staff was great and always willing to help me with whatever I needed, they taught us as much variety as possible and kept up with the trends. We got to have a TON of hands on experience on real clients, rather than mannequins like many other schools. I left school feeling confident . In many of the salons I've worked in, I've had far more experience than most of the people I worked with (who had been in the business longer than me). I would recommend Evans to anyone interested in a career in cosmetology , and to top it off their tuition is so affordable compared to other schools. They really care about their students and want them to be the best. I couldn't be more grateful for all they taught me, it's made me successful in a career im passionate about.
