Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. Staff and students were great. They took their time to listen to my needs and delivered a great service. I wanted to cut all my hair off and they took on the challenge. Both student and teacher worked closely together to get me looking right.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I been taking my kids to get there haircuts there for 2 years now. And the kids always had a good time. The night crew made us felt welcome and the instructor was very helpful, skillful and hot. I think her name is Ms. AshleySource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
My color correction by a student named Dejah was outstanding. I love my color and hairstyle. The teacher, Ms. Liz, was great! She gave her suggestions and listened to what I wanted for my hair. She checked on her student and reassured me that it was going to be corrected. I feel wonderful about my hair again. THANK YOU SO MUCH AND I CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK!!!!!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I have been coming to get my hair done at Empire off and on for many years. Today is the first time I have been extremely disappointed with service from a student and poor supervision from a staff member. I came in for color and hopefully obtain a blow dry and flat iron. I called at 5:00 PM and the supervisor said she had an appointment. I told her I could come at 5:30 PM. I arrived a little after 5:30. I signed in and was assigned a student, Courtney Johnson. She consulted with me and then brought over the supervisor. I stated I wanted the dark red color on the ends of my hair and the dark brown color on the rest of my hair. This in not what my hair looks like. I noticed the student using large amounts of hair dye on my hair and dripping it on the cape and floor. She used three bowls of dark brown and one red. This does not even look like the color that was used on my head before. It is a bright red. There is red color on my hair and not just the ends of my hair. Then I was told by the supervisor that I would not get my hair blow dry and straightened due to the time. The student felt bad and said she would hurry up and do my hair. They did not charge me for this service since I spent $105.00 on coloring my hair. I have never spent this much on coloring my hair. My hair is not long. It should not have taken four bowls of color to dye my hair. If a student has not had experience with dyeing hair, then close supervision should be given. Now I have to spend more money to correct this issue. This is very disturbing to me. I understand there are some risks when you go to a school of students who are still continuing to learn about how to do hair. I understand this but i believe better service and teaching could have been done. I teach and I would not want my students to be allowed to incorrectly put color in a clients hair and to have me start and not get my hair finished until 10:00PM. How long does it take to color someone’s hair?Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
