Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This index doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Empire Beauty School-Lehigh Valley
I called asking if I can request an black or experienced stylist to do a silk press on my daughters hair and was told they cannot do that. Whoever is up next for the next appointment is who I will get. I know it’s a school but there also should be some kind of understanding that Everyone is not experienced to work on all hair types!!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I have only been there once but my experience was not the best. First off, when I walked in no body greeted me or even asked what my name was. Plus, there were like 4 people at the desk. After about 10 minutes of sitting there, I went up to them and asked if I should check in now. She asked for my name and told me someone will be right with me in a little bit. No body acknowledged me and I ended up sitting there for 30 more minutes passed my appointment time. Finally someone came up to me and got me set up for what I needed to be done. It only costed me $10 w/ tip, which is why I gave them another star. The student doing my hair was very careful and sweet. She also checked up on how I was liking my hair once in a while. Just when I thought their customer service couldn't get any worse, I stood at the desk for over 5 minutes with the money in my hand and no one said anything to me. I finally said in an irritated voice how much I owed. She couldn't give me a price so I stood their even longer. What made me even more angry was that a lady who had way more done than me payed first right away when she walked up to the desk. Staff is not the friendliest and wait time is horrible.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
