Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This index doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Empire Beauty School-Gwinnett
They do ok. They're students and are still learning. Some are better than licensed stylist.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Do not go here, very rude. Students and teachers. They don't teach you what you need to know for other ethnic hair and let you fail. Don't waste your time and money, go to another school!!!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
DO NOT COME HERE!!! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I CAME IN AT 9AM BC THAT'S WHEN THEY SAY THEY START BUT BC THEY HAD A "POW WOW" I DIDN'T GET STARTED ON UNTIL 10:02. I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. AND IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO ATTEND A BEAUTY SCHOOL DON'T EVEN BOTHER WITH THE PLACE. GO TO A SCHOOL THAT REPECTS ITS CLIENTS TIME AND WILL TEACH YOU THE RIGHT WAY. GHETTO PLACE!! THEY SHOULDN'T EVEN BE ACCREDITED.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Save your coins and pay a licensed cosmetologist. I love to support the students but the staff is unpleasant. They lack customer service and are badly branding the students. If I go to a salon and they say they were educated at empire, I'm weary because the customer service is HORRIBLE.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I'm not going to bash the school or the students who have accomplished so much and graduated. But I will say this.If you're going to take out loans and pay money for a skill, Love what you do. Cosmetology isn't for everybody. Between the appointment not being recorded, the stank ass attitudes fogging up the place, to the bottom feed customer service and not to mention the low quality hair service that was received. That $25 would of had a better pay out at Panera Bread. Today was the worse. I'm sick over it. Every time I drive down Pleasant Hill Rd I will think...Never Again. 1st and Last time. I hope tomorrow is better for you guys and your customers.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
