The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Empire Beauty School-Exton is 12:1, that means that for every 12 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Empire Beauty School-Exton
I am a currently enrolled student at Springfield empire, the staff is really unorganized and never has anything set in stone. I started here and signed a contract of 1250 hours to complete the program, in the middle of me finishing up my program with only about 4 months left they change the requirements for graduation and changed the dress code. Changing the dress code was a terrible idea for the student body because we all obviously quit our jobs to come to school so how could we afford a new waredrobe as students already Barely making it by as is because we have no time to work. The new requirements are not realistic AT ALL! This is not the contract I signed and I’m very sad to say that I have to stay here to get my cosmetology license. The teachers also do not care if you get a lunch or not and that is very unlawful, they will give you a client on your lunch while you are clocked out which makes absolutely NO sense. The only bright spot of my education was pre salon, whom I had Mrs Ann and Ms Angie, they treated us all fair with no favorintism and were very polite and wanted to see us get our licenses. I am a consumer and I paid $20,000 for a terrible experience here. I don’t recommend this school to anyone.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Empire Beauty School in Springfield is the only salon that can give a medium red color. The regular salons can't do that.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Some of the students really know how to do beautiful hair and make it grow ; others need more time in the classroom to build up their skills in different areas. You go for the price and when your lucky you get a person that understand hair and is professional that's just needs a license. I have been to so called professionals and everyone that has a license doesn't understand how to do everything some just know the basis things . Empire is just like any other place you go.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Don't go there if you're looking for a professional haircut ,they are students under trainingSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
