Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This index doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Empire Beauty School-Elizabethtown is 20:1, that means that for every 20 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Empire Beauty School-Elizabethtown
I can see why so many gets out of school not knowing how to cut hair. The instructor does not show students the proper way to cut only the fast way. I am a barber so I know the proper procedure and this instructor is not doing so. These students are not getting a certificate of training, just a certificate of receipt for paying. Sad!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Very awesome atmosphere. Took a tender headed 8 year old in there and the students did an amazing job with her. And me since I know nothing about ethnic hair.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Very disappointed. Paid $40 for my grandson to get twist and the girl (Celeste) freaking cut all his hair off. I didnt understand that at all. And she cut it before she twisted it. And it was a bad cut at that. He was only suppose to get twist. Now he walking around with this mess sitting right on the top of his head. I won't be back. I was very upset when I seen it. Then gonna charge me for a cut on top of the freaking $40. Naw, we won't be back. Now he got to grow his hair out all over again. And she talked like she really knew what she was doing. And the twist are already coming undone. I know she is a student, but she assured me she knew what she was doing.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
You get what you pay for here because these are students and even some of the supervision is still at a student level. I applaud them for adding cosmetology to their resume but I'll stay with what I knowSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
The holiday hours are a joke, because no one is actually there to cut hair. I'll post a better review when someone is there the next time I come.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
