Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Edgecombe Community College is 22:1, that means that for every 22 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Student Reviews and Ratings for Edgecombe Community College
First time attending this school fall 2017 my experience was good up until I took CIS 110 on Tarboro campus instructor to me was rude showed lack of interest in the problems occurring in the class I am not sure if he is the only instructor on this campus for Intro to computers but I recommend taking with someone else, and please do not take this course in anything less than a 16-week semester to much information at once. I hope I pass this class and have a better experience for the remainder of my time here.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Being back to school at Edgecombe Community College is a great experience I see myself furthering in my education because I have awesome teachers.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
A very boring place. When I was in 3rd and 4th grades, I had to sit there and wait for a whole two hours for the two programs for ten minutes. Sorry to the people who care.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Edgecombe Community College is a great school the clc and most of the teachers will work with youSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Don't take an online class through Edgecombe. It was a dreadful experience, the professor was rude and seemed not to care one bit. If you forget to do one assignment you become locked out of every other assignment, including the one you forgot to do, so you are completely out of luck. It really is a terrible system. You then have to contact the instructor to get in unlocked, and if she doesn't respond soon, then you get stuck in a vicious cycle of being locked out. It's super frustrating. Should have dropped it when I had the chance.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
