Graduation Rate

Delmarva Beauty Academy graduation rate is above the national average.

86% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Delmarva Beauty Academy completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.

First time visit in December, and was very dissatisfied. People are nice, but I'm sadly shocked that students aren't being properly trained and barely supervised, because teacher was working on her own client. It was my worse cut and perm I ever had. Spent $52.00 and I had to go home and reperm some areas were it was only have curled and had to trim long uneven areas. I realize this is a learning institution and I have went to many of them in PA and DE and always have had a wonderful experience. Can not say the same for this one. I will never return.

Great experience! I got my haircut here on Saturday by Alexis. (She was amazing - I will definitely ask for her again!). I got a simple shoulder length bob with side bangs. Alexis did a great job on the main haircut and then asked the instructor for help with my bangs (I go to hair schools often and this is very common). I was happy she was aware of her skill level and willing to leave that part to the expert! My hair looks great and the conditioning treatment made a noticeable difference (my hair is so soft). I cannot say enough good things about this place. I also really liked the salon's atmosphere, it felt very comfortable and welcoming. Only thing I would mention is that as I was leaving at 2PM, someone came in and was told they were no longer accepting clients for the day. But their website says their Saturday hours go until 4PM. So you might want to call to check before you go in!

Feels like home come see

I came here to get my daughters hair braided, and the girl did a fine job and was nice, however the other girls and receptionists were not. They were being rude to my 4yr old son who came with,,because he was so excited to see his sisters hair. They wouldn't let him stay with us to watch and the receptionist yelled at him just for touching a pen at the desk, they made him and me feel very unwelcome and I will not return for services ever again. I had such a bad vibe from 90 percent of the women working there.
