The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This index doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at CUNY Bronx Community College is 20:1, that means that for every 20 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

I graduated from here years ago. I also take community classes/workshops here when I can. This school is like family for me. So many different types of opportunities. #bxcrrb #cera #bcc #jewjewbeed #psychologySource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
The Campus is beautiful and it gets more attractive when it's a sunny day ☀️🥰Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Nice place to work and go to school. Beautiful campus. Buildings are mostly somewhat aged, but I think they're better than Lehman. Anyway...although u might see references to DASNY, NYS agency which owns the land/ buildings/etc., and the D does stand for Dormitory, BCC does NOT have any dorms!!! There are maybe 3 CUNY schools that do, and you can Google that separately lol, but BCC isn't one of them.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I graduated from this college a few years ago, I majored in Electronics Technology. Most professors I experienced were good. Especially in my Electronics Major. However there's no real guide or program to help with Job Employment after you Graduate. If you learn anything about the industry its at the courtesy of a professor. But the school doesn't teach you anything about getting work. They don't have any kind of certification preparation, or program to get you into a apprenticeship or entry work. The good thing is that from what I heard its better then New York city Tech. And you do get some hands on work because of labs. But its not going to be like a tech school though.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
