Student Reviews and Ratings for Kapiolani Community College
Worst school experience ever. Don’t care about the students they only care about making money. Teacher was rude and then was threatened to never be able to use financial aid to attend school again. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TO ANYONE!! Look elsewhere.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Well I don’t go to the school but I do work for a living delivering groceries for instacart. They ordered 12 cases of water and wanted me to put it in their closet. I explained to them it’s policy “store to door”. So I helped load it on their cart , I had to load it in the store in my car. When I was done, because I wouldn’t take it to their storage closet they took my tip away. Do you really want to go to this school? If they would do this to me just think what they would do to your career.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I graduated from Concorde in 2010. I was in the dental assisting program and got hired on at my extern site as a surgical tech in oral surgery. My teachers were awesome; except for maybe one. I was trained thoroughly in the dental field and had a lot of hands-on experience.I have nothing bad to say about Concorde except for one drawback; your credits will not transfer to a 4-year university should you want to go further, something my admissions counselor led me to believe was possible. However, that's neither here nor there. It was a good experience for me.I am considering going back to Concorde for the dental hygienist program. I will say to those wanting to get into the DH program before going through the DA program is: it is very common to take the DA program FIRST before going into the DH program. You have to work as a DA for at least two years before enrolling in the DH program. It's even like that at UMKC Dental School...at least it was when I looked into a few years ago. However, things change.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I got here current for the nursing program and i love this school. There are ALOT of negative reviews about the nursing program but there is a new DON as of a year ago and he cleaned house and the new teachers are AMAZING!!! I really suggest going here if anybody is debating on going. The staff is all so great and helpful. I can get tutors whenever I feel like I am struggling with a subject and the teachers don’t talk down to you and make you feel stupid. There are just so many opportunities.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Teachers were helpful, hands on experience with classmates were helpful in learning real life job expectations, met new friends and graduated with a credited certification that will carry me far in life. Discounted chance to further my education if I choose. Enjoyed the experience and and perks that went with going to Concorde Career College even more happy with my now career as a Certified Registered Medical Assistant. Thank you ConcordeSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
