Student Reviews and Ratings for Shawnee Community College
Just called the monroeville branch, let's just say they were less than enthusiastic to talk to me about their nursing program. A few questions I asked I just got answers to go look at the online information, well no I wanted to speak to someone. No suggestion of talking to admission person. The person I spoke to in the 'nursing' office was flat and sounded bothered to speak to me... no suggestions definitely would not want to attend that school!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
FUTURE NURSING STUDENTS!!! Met with multiple different advisors at two different CCAC locations. Everyone of the advisors said that everything was on track to be accepted to the nursing program. AFTER APPLICATION WAS SENT IN, I was informed that my biology AND chemistry will not transfer! Nursing acceptance letter was received two weeks late. Professors conducted themselves in an unprofessional manner. I'll be taking myself and my money into a real university next semester!!!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™

WATCH YOUR FINANCES. CHARGED TWICE AND WATCHED THE STAFF BLATANTLY LIE TO ME ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS AND ATTEMPT TO COVER THE CHARGES AS ONE TRANSACTION. FINANCIAL AID OFFICE LAUNDERED MY MONEY AND I WATCHED MY RECEIPTS TRANSFORM IN FRONT OF ME. WHILE I LOST MY SEATS DUE TO INCARCERATION THE SCHOOL WROTE OFF MY CHARGES TO COLLECTIONS FOR SEATS I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO ABDICATE, WITHOUT ANY WAY TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE SCHOOL. DONT BE AFRAID TO SPEAK OF THE ILLEGAL ACTIVITY YOU WILL CERTAINLY BE CHARGED FOR. -Trevon KinnonSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Terrible time.. Was charged for classes I never attended and dropped but they kept claiming that they have no record of me submitting my form ... Terrible experience. Didn't surprise me that their enrollment is down...Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
