Student Reviews and Ratings for Laredo Community College
There's an education here just waiting for you. The grounds are well kept and from a photographer's perspective, many photographs to be taken. If you are an older adult on retirement, the school offers reduced credit costs.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Honestly, I wish I could say that this place is great considering I live next to it and can walk there every day, but my experiences as Cochise College were...interesting, to say the least. Not once has anyone ever seemed to grasp that I've gone through their system not once, not twice, not even three times, but a total of nine different times. I went to do the same sequence of events over and over again and they still won't help me through the steps. I even had to correct an English teacher regarding grammar and spelling, which I find sad because they were teaching the GED/HSE course.Edit (new 3 out of 5 rating): I shouldn't have been as harsh as I was with my first review of this place. I'll admit that I was a little heated after walking there, day after hot day, always being told the same things over and over again regarding registration. I based my previous 1 out of 5 rating solely on the registration process and that's not fair. It's also not their fault since they're not the ones who created the system in which we live, but I digress. Cochise College is one of those places I'll always remember. Not only because I've had plenty of memories there, but also because of the environment. It has a cool campus with openly labeled buildings so it's easy to traverse without total confusion. I did learn that they've never had a PA system, which I found odd considering the size and reputation of Cochise College. That obviously wouldn't deter me from studying there, but I definitely will be more cautious with my belongings, especially a bike I've locked up (which is how I found out that they didn't have a PA system from one of their security guards). I've never had a negative experience with the staff and they really do seem like they're trying to help, even though it may seem to you personally that they're just trying to get around your issues. The have some great holiday events and other events, if that's your cup of tea.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
This college's admissions office is a nightmare to work with. It's as if you are speaking to a brick wall, if you receive a response at all. Don't waste your time or your money.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I have an AS from here. The nicest Cochise College campus.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
The people on this campus are so much friendlier & willing to help! I wish the staff at the Sierra vista campus was as good at their job as the Douglas staff!!! I would say it's worth the drive if you live in Sierra Vista to go to this campus instead. You'll have a better academic experience & staff interaction.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
