Graduation Rate

Clovis Community College graduation rate is below the national average.

16% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Clovis Community College completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This index doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Clovis Community College

Overall Rating:

AVOID the online classes. This school is unwilling to invest in a coherent and working system for actual classes. This system is extremely dated. Teachers won't use laid out, tested, and automated programs like Pearson. Rather, they will rely on a clustered nightmare of modules that work inconsistently, so you can miss your assignments or be unaware something is due because it's literally a blank page (across three different browsers). The diagrams are also terrible even when you blow them (on multiple devices and browsers) up so you can never be sure what you're looking at or what is being discussed. I would also like to point out I've had to resort to using other professor's YouTube videos to learn material because what was presented as the lecture portion was severely lacking or incomplete knowledge wise. These classes are rather expensive compared to other schools even with in state tuition. I cannot recommend Clovis Community College's online program in good faith. I see why students say it's difficult, it's not because of the actual subjects, it's because the school is making it harder than it needs to be. I definitely won't be giving them anymore of my money after this semester ends.

I had a good time here. Great teachers and staff, they really care about you. I had to learn basic fifth grade math here, and the teacher made it easier than anyone in my life. It just clicked. Now I know calculus and am exploring more advanced maths.

Instructors are truely invested. Wide variety of career options. Their programs offer clinical and real life experiences to prepare students for the work force. I graduated from here and it is by far the best, most organized, and most invested school I've ever attended. Plus, you can't beat the price!
