I was excited to start the school when I enrolled to finally be able to be one step closer to my dream of becoming an Esthetician. When the date arrived that I had to start my mother had emergency surgery and I was unable to make it for the first 3 days. I spoke to Jacqueline Sedita, who works in enrollment and she assured me that it was not a problem that I would just make up the work I missed. I called Jacqueline Sedita to let her know I will be coming in and then she told me that I could not come in and denied that she told me that I could make up the work I missed. She stated I would have to pay another $100 to register for October. She then proceeded to lie stating that the boards would not allow me to start, so I called the NJ Board and they said that was not true and they wanted a call back from the school to find out why the school would state that. I called Jacqueline Sedita again at which point refused to call the NJ Boards and she changed her words around AGAIN saying that its not that the boards wouldn't allow it but that the school policy wouldn't allow it. After reading the School Contract there was no where on the contract stating that either. NOT ONLY did she continuously lie to me when she told me that I could make up those 3 days, then changed what she said, then told me I couldn't start, then told me I couldn't get a refund of my $100, and told me I would have to pay another $100 and I would have to start in October. I even spoke to an instructor who was supposedly on the NJ Board, who was extremely rude on the phone actually questioning why I even chose that school at which point I pointed out that was not her business I could pick any school I wanted. I even spoke to the CEO Peter De Haydu who was extremely rude stated to me that I was lucky to even be speaking with him that he is an important person and doesn't talk to students! He was extremely rude on the phone and refused to let me start the classes I registered for and refused to refund my $100. THE PEOPLE HERE WERE VERY RUDE!!! I would tell anyone to think twice about going to this school including the Manhattan school since Peter De Haydu is the CEO of that school too. They will tell you one thing and then change the words around on you!!! I even bought all the uniforms and shoes and things I needed and they didn't care and they left me stranded lost money and lost time and they LIED!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I got several of the skin treatments. I found the female students in the clinic to be very knowledgeable as well as personable, I felt I could rely on their counsel. The instructor on staff was wonderful too. The prices were reasonable and I was quite pleased with the results of my treatment. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the setting if you cannot renovate to give the place a new look at least make sure it is spotless and it is NOT.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
