Chris Beauty College graduation rate is above the national average.
70% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Chris Beauty College completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.
The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Chris Beauty College is 10:1, that means that for every 10 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Chris Beauty College
So first this nice instructor, sweet as she want to be but didn't have a clue. She asked more questions than the students, starts to try to detangle my hair. I feel her combing from root to end so I tell her its best to comb from end to root to keep from combing my hair out... Clearly she was confused which end I meant. Then the student starts applying some kind of product to my hair to blow dry. I stop her and tell her they only use super skinny on my hair but she proceeds telling me these products will help straighten my hair while it is blow dried... Ok so now I'm a little irritated because I have voiced what it is that I want.... Well as she is straightening I'm looking at my oliy hair like Lord Jesus I'm about to have to go home and rewash... Then comes the ticket... Which is more than I usually pay so I ask that the person in charge come and talk to me because not only am I not happy with my hair but now they are charging me way more than they should. She proceeds to tell me that the extra products that was used in my hair was extra and if I didn't like it then they could wash me and I could leave wet... Ofcourse you can imagine how I feel... I AM LIVID!!!! I turn to the 2 students behind me that had been there observing the whole time and I say DONT TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS or they will NOT be back. Walked out of the door and went to JcPenney's salon. Point... Do not come here if you want your hair like you want your hair🙅Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
The staff is very friendly and professional. Elyse and Courtney gave me a Brazilian blowout and the service was amazing! I've been going every 2 weeks ever since.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
My hair was trimmed too short and uneven at salon .. I opted for a perm at Chriss'. Several ladies there did a great job with what they had to work with. I thank them very much for all the time they worked on me. It was definitely not a Easy day for them.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™

Don't go here!!!!!!!!!! My daughter went to have her highlights touched up which previously had been done at Paul Mitchell School in New Orleans. At the Paul Mitchell school she had gone three times and spent $300 dollars to get the light color she wanted and was very pleased with Paul Mitchell School in New Orleans. She moved to Mississippi and went to this Chris' beauty school for touchup. They lightened her hair and then the INSTRUCTOR put a BROWN COLOR on her hair. All the blond she had was covered up and when she cried and said they had just covered up all her blond hair and that it would cost her a lot of money to fix it, the instructor told my daughter that they would not fix it and they would not refund her $70 and then the instructor told my crying daughter to leave or they would call the police!!!!!!!!!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
