BELOW AVERAGE

Central Piedmont Community College graduation rate is below the national average.

11% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Central Piedmont Community College completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Central Piedmont Community College

Overall Rating:

Overall Rating:

I'm honestly confused as to how this school receives 1 star reviews! Of course with any institution you run into a few rude people but overall this college is fantastic. The faculty is top notch, the professors are compassionate and accessible. There is no guesswork when it's time to make your schedule because there is an abundance of advisors ready to help you. If you receive financial aid you won't have to spend a dime just make sure you pay attention and do your work! Honestly you can't go wrong with this school, I have nothing but wonderful things to say and if I had to go it all over again, CPCC is my first choice. 💯

Overall Rating:

CPCC is a pretty good school. Overall, I don't regret my decision to go here. The only reason I take off a star is because of 2 things. First, the cpcc website is awful. Second, the other people who go here are generally annoying. But I would still recommend going here.

Overall Rating:

I called this campus because my professor told me that for my demonstration speech that I'm doing in my communications class through cpcc, I must rent a visual aid that In this case would be a mannequin to demonstrate my topic for the speech. They forwarded me to the maintenance department, then they forwarded me directly to a person's voicmail without it even ringing. Now I have to drive 20 miles in 5pm traffic just to see if I can rent a visual aid for my speech. Not very eager to help it seems.
