Graduation Rate

Carnegie Institute graduation rate is above the national average.

86% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Carnegie Institute completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This indicator doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.

Student Body

Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Carnegie Institute

Overall Rating:

I graduated from Carnegie in 2016. It’s was a very tough, vigorous, intense MA course. The teachers are great they never talk down to you, never flirted, no gossiping, no bad talking about students. There was never any racial prejudice behavior, it’s disgusting to hear negative comments about the school, staff, the teachers and Mrs. Normile it’s disgraceful.

Overall Rating:

There are two teachers there that er rude and disrespectful combs and garner they "tell you to shut up" and tell you you cant talk. They dont allow your interact with your class mates unlike other college and school encourage you to interact with your class mates help each other and try to solve problems together, not accuse you because they believe that its cheating to work or ask your class mate a question. They both will talk down to you treat you like your stupid and talk to you like that as well.Only time your allowed interact in class is when they (the teachers) want to talk something. I am failing a complaint with the BBB they both talk about students well the whole staff does this .Please dont waste your time or money with this school they will force loans on you and if you pay out of pocket they will try to make you pay more then owed keep track of your money.

Overall Rating:

This is a very Zionist hateful school.there is a lot of racial prejudice and the principal is also irresponsible in taking care of situations. Staff is busy with flirtatious affairs. If I could give negative 10 ,I would.1 star is too good rating for this school.
