Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Capri Institute of Hair Design-Paramus is 12:1, that means that for every 12 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Student Reviews and Ratings for Capri Institute of Hair Design-Paramus
DO NOT COME HERE. i have been a student at capri for some time and as i been here i have seen has been multiple occasions where staff has been rude, showed they don’t care, giving consequences to the wrong students and showing favoritism to others. i should be able to seek help from my administration and instead i feel uncomfortable to bring issue to them because i feel like they will NOT help me to their best ability. capri staff does not care unless it’s beneficial to them. they don’t care about your education they just care about how they look for themselves.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I brought my daughter & friend here for a blowout. Mine came out great thanks to a elementary school friend that I bumped into who is enrolled there. My daughters friend who has naturally somewhat course hair was statisfied as well with her blow out On the other hand my daughter hair who is biracial and has hair on the more courser side, student had major trouble with blowing it out and flat ironing it. The student began to blow dry my daughters hair halfway so it was semi wet still then started to flat iron it! Smh she had no idea what she was doing with her hair texture but common sense as a beauty school student would tell you that’s not what you do! Not one instructer came to evaluate or give any advice to the student because she was clearly struggling ! Once my daughters friend student was finshed with her she came over to assist with my poor child’s hair. That’s when her hair started to come along. About 2 hours later we were done. Affordable blow out but for my daughter major heat damage from the student who kept passing the flat iron through my daughters hair was not worth the trouble. As I was in my car about to leave my daughter student/stylist came up to my car as I was pulling out and asked if I was satisfied I said” yeah” because all around I was but not with her. She continued to say the other student was mad because I didn’t tip. I seriously didn’t know you had to tip students .She said we work for tips. So I pulled out some singles and gave it to them. Either way she was very unprofessional. I wont come back here.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I’m a current skin care student at Capri and so far so good. Staff is helpful and friendly, facility definitely needs an upgrade but on the plus side you really learn what you need to in order to understand and pass the state board. If your looking for an estedically pretty school with all your latest technology and you have money to blow go elsewhere but if your anything like me and my other classmates who just want to understand and learn skin care and pass state boards and start making money then Capri will help you with just that. I feel it’s worth every penny.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I had a fabulous vitamin C facial! Everytime I thought it was over she would begin putting something on my face! and I loved it! My skin was brighter and the over pigmentation scar I had been trying to get rid of was literally almost gone when she finished. I will be going back again and again and again.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
