Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Capri Institute of Hair Design-Kenilworth
8k later I’m left with a poor education, PTSD from being bullied by teachers, and low self esteem from coming in with flawless clear skin to then leaving with terrible adult acne. Thanks Capri 0 stars. Clean up your school and give your students what they’re paying for.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Favoritism..towels were never done until me..so unorganized..treated students like babies..we are 17 and older have families of our own..no body is calling the damn school and if they do we will not receive the message, why you ask? Well simply because they are on a smoke break or walking around the school..no one cares about ms Moore’s dates or lack of them..she would be jealous when a student received flowers or an edible arrangement for birthdays, anniversaries, graduation etc..just terrible..a group of former students had written a letter to state board about this location..it’s really sad smh The only good part about this year (sept 2017-aug 2018) of my life was that I met so many talented and wonderful people that we still link and talk about things..we as students held each other down..shout out to ms Bev (the teacher who helped me pass the PSI)Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I did the manicurist program here which was 300 hours . Since the program was so short , no one taking this specific program was eligible to receive any financial backing . Me & all my classmates paid out of pocket a whopping $500 a month . I should’ve left the program earlier than I did . It was VERY unprofessional and just an overall drag & a waste of time & money . Because thats all they care about here is the money . So I left the program after about 3 months in . Keep in mind I was paying for this course out of pocket . Once I was gone , Capri continued to bill me as If I owed them MY MONEY ! I never received a penny from anywhere or anyone except myself ! I called the corporate office to see wth was going on & the lady tried to explain to me , that it’s somwthing written in the enrollment agreement . I asked her what exactly is was & she acted as if she couldn’t disclose that information with me , and she’d have my financial aid advisor call me back .. meanwhile I never received financial aid . They’re just a rip off ! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL & MONEY HUNGRY ! & I dare someone from there to come under this review & say they’re “ suing “ because I shared my AWFUL experience here ! I wish I would’ve read the reviews on this place before I enrolled . This was the ONLY cosmo school that had a manicurist program alone .Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I find it confusing how you threaten to sue someone off of a review section??? you think all these people are just expressing their frustration are lying?? wouldn't that be a waste of money on court fees because if different people are saying the same exact thing OVER AND OVER again there's no way it can't be true. This is an awful school that needs to be inspected by the state board for their negligence in educating but also sanitation. But maybe it doesn't make a difference because the only thing you're really taught in Capri is how to pass the state board and that's it (and even that is poorly done.) This is just me genuinely caring about other people who are spending their hard earned money on this facility to consider that even though this school is affordable it is not worth your education suffering and possibly your own skin. You'd be way better off choosing a better school that you walk out of feeling confident and like a professional. If I could go back I would have enrolled into Parisian academy in Hackensack. This school really negatively affected my life but I will not let it make me lose hope in being a successful esthetician.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
AS A FORMER STUDENT , HERE IS A KIND SUGGESTION: Please use your well earned money and put it towards a more deserving school. Read the other reviews and let the comments speak for themselves. Take the other reviews VERY seriously.. trust me. Make the best decision for your education and your future...don't waste your time/money. Hopefully down the road they will have updated equipment and a more respectful staff instead of focusing so hard on trying to get you to delete your honest reviews / opinions. :)Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
