Graduation Rate

Capri Cosmetology Learning Centers graduation rate is above the national average.

76% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Capri Cosmetology Learning Centers completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.

I've worked with Capri for the last three years and it is the best! As someone that has been teaching for several years and has worked at a few schools, I have to say that Capri is the most professional school I've ever worked for! Overall Rating:

I LOVED everything about my experience at Capri! Having recently graduated from the Esthetics program, I couldn't be happier with my decision to attend Capri. The Director, the staff, and the coaches were amazing! I feel like everyone went out of their way to ensure that my educational experience was top notch. The combination of book work and hands-on work was a perfect way for me to learn. The equipment and supplies that the school provided were amazing....including a MUD Make-Up Kit! I feel totally confident in my ability to pass my stateboard test and I already have a job in the field of esthetics! I HIGHLY recommend Capri to anyone considering going to school for a career in beauty!

Overall Rating:

This is the worst “school” I’ve ever been too. It’s such a joke, I’m so upset that I wasted my time and money towards this school. The only thing good about it is “some” of the teachers. The director is terrible, she don’t listen and plays favorite. They don’t have proper graduation for the students after we pay them all our money. They make you pay $14 per hour for any hours that you have to make up, but they don’t think that people have kids, jobs, outside lives out of school. So being there 9-5 everyday is not a struggle enough. They go through the courses like flash and don’t give students enough time to actually learn anything. Sometimes there’s nothing to do and you’re just bored. It’s not supposed to be like that honestly. I feel like $10,000 for 4 months is too much especially with what we get in return. The spa is dirty, especially the bathrooms, the shower is nasty. The spa curtains are dirty and only gets cleaned once every 3 months. They expect. The students to do everything for them but then don’t even give recognition for their hard work. The director only cares about the cosmetology students, there are always job posting for cosmetology but never for skin, that’s just bogus. Don’t even waste your time coming here honestly. I don’t know how the cosmetology program is but the esthetics program is trash.

Overall Rating:

I am giving this place no stars. I had to give it one in order to post this. I went in on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 and was assigned to a student. From the first I thought it was not going to go well. My hair was long and I wanted it styled and shorter. I told her how much I wanted cut. She took off half after cutting for a while and you could see the hesitation and uncertainty. She called for her coach to come over and check her work and when the coach looked at it she asked her shouldn't it be shorter? So she cut off more. Then when it came to styling, she was completely lost. The coach came back and did the rest. Now the student proceeds to attempt to blow it out. She couldn't manage that. Took a too small roller brush and proceeded to get my hair all snarled and tangled in the brush and them pulled it out. DId this three times and I told her forget it, I'll just leave with damp hair. When I got home I took a look at the mess and couldn't believe what I was seeing. One side was totally different than the other. Two friends asked me if I had cut it myself. I called Capri on Friday to have someone fix it and was told I would have to take my chances again with another student rather than have a teacher fix the mess. And. I could make an appointment on MONDAY. So I was being asked to wait until after the weekend, live with the mess for a couple of days and take another leap of hope getting my hair looking like it wasn't cut by someone who just waked in off the street. This is how they treat those whom they have damaged. I will NEVEr go there again. You are taking a big chance that things won't end well if you do.
