Student Reviews and Ratings for California State University-Northridge

Overall Rating:

I graduated with a STEM degree with both business and chemistry minors. I regret going there. The biology and chemistry classes had nothing but cheaters with crib notes. The business classes had students that couldn't do their share of group work. The students believe because they paid for classes their entitled to at a C at a minimum. The teachers are decent except in a few classes, but that is to be expected. One more thing to the students. School is for learning not feeling offended by everything and everyone. Grow up and do your work.

By far one of the best colleges in California especially in southern California. If you're looking to attend a college in the San Fernando Valley I would highly suggest applying here. Not to mention their exclusivelu elaborative sized campus with many facilities, relaxed areas to chill, sports arenas, and more....PLUS - and a very relaxed vibe. There was a recent generous donor (by the Nazarian family) who donated in a woppering amount in the hundred million range towards improvements and renovations to the campus within the last couple years this.... is something important to take care in consideration....Successful, BUT Selfless people are very generous without compromising values despite their wealth.

Didn't realize you can write a review for your University here or I would have done this SO long ago!!!! Every professor I had at CSUN always made themselves available to answer questions at all times. They are very responses, even outside of office hours. This made all of the difference for me since I always have questions about everything! If they can be this patient with me, I know a lot of the students there are taken care of. Thank you professors for making the college experience easier for me than I thought it ever could have been!

My alma mater. I really enjoyed my classes and professors. I was in the philosophy dept. Great memories, nice campus and made some life long friends and professional contacts.
