    Graduation Rate

    83%
    ABOVE AVERAGE

Bryn Mawr College graduation rate is above the national average.

83% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Bryn Mawr College completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.

      Overall Rating:

Although Bryn Mawr strives to incorporate the values of both sexes, their human resources department and other administrative units discriminate against male applicants applying to jobs that they are qualified. Stay away from applying if you're a male.

If you'd like to send your child into a thought bubble of being scared and not being aware of the real world, look no further.Went to pick up my brother from this school (he was visiting his girlfriend for the day), and I parked on the public street (Merion) to wait ten minutes while he came outside. While being there, eyes glared at me from all directions, including from the safe confines of the dorm rooms. My brother had come out and we we're packing his bags in my car while two campus security drove up quickly and blocked me in. They had apparently been called by students and were accusing me of "suspicious activity." (30 seconds later, I would have been gone if they hadn't showed up). They repeatedly asked for my ID, and I repeated told them no damn way did they have the right.Anyways, it appears to be that a male on this campus is cause enough for suspicious activity. Even though I wasn't on campus... I was on a public street. But, hey, I hear these kids really do great things!!!Who doesn't love a good artsy school at $40,000+ a year!

Beautiful campus. I was there with a 10-year old for May Day. I thought there would be more activities for kids/general public. Unless I got there late, the event was ok as an "outsider" but seemed like a really, really great tradition for the students.

A great place to study and to obtain a good education, professional and social experience to be prepared for life after graduation. Good environment and resources to students and professors.

The descriptions of Bryn Mawr doesn't even capture the jewel this women's college is today. Visit this incomparable school. Among the Seven Sisters' Colleges, it's known as the "Scholarly Sister." Bryn Mawr is designed for the tough-minded, academically- gifted student...Like Princeton University, BMC is.steeped in history and tradition. There's a palpable MAGIC on campus. Ask any student. My daughter is a member of the class of 2019!
