Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Brown Mackie College-Salina is 9:1, that means that for every 9 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Student Reviews and Ratings for Brown Mackie College-Salina
They lied to me from day one. Now it's closing doors and still won't return my callsSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
This school is an absolute joke and was a waist of my time! they messed up my financial aid package and charged me double the tuition! The basketball program is put together like a game a pick up sticks and literally sets you up for failure. This school brings you to the end of the road so do yourself a favor and don't even bother!!!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I don't know what the other review is talking about but I was very pleased with everything about Brown Mackie. Brown Mackie exceeded all of my expectations. I wish I didn't have to move and go to a different school because the school I'm in now is inconvenient and unfriendly and it is apparent that they do not care about my education like Brown Mackie was. Thanks for everything Brown Mackie.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
2006 Grad of the nursing program. Brown Mackie College has a business model designed to milk your finances dry. 95% of the instructors are rejects from their previous jobs. They are incompetent and do not care about your success. The faculty gossips about the students. They make plans about who they are going to fail based off of how you look when you 1st walk in the door. The biggest mistake Ive ever made in my life was going through their program. Do yourself a huge favor and enter a traditional program through your local community college. Your bank account will thank you later on in life. Programs like these should be shut down!!!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
