Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Brown Mackie College-Kansas City
Was look I g to expand my culinary skills...unfortunately they didnt offer my class...the people I talked to were very informative and helpfullSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I am currently a student at Brown Mackie. I am in the nursing program. You are required to take a lot of classes that are not needed. Classes such as student success they teach you how to use your IPAD and APA formatting. This class cost 900.00 dollars, which is discounted because it does not count towards your credits for graduation. You pay a lot for this "education", which is self-taught because your classes are one class a month, but they cram too much material in one class they do not cover any material you are required to do so at home. From the beginning you are lied to when entering the door. Debbie in admissions told a classmate she was suffering from breast cancer (which is a lie), she told me that she was a nursing student (which is a lie), and she is unprofessional and will tell you anything to get you in the door. Her clothing is unprofessional and she lacks grammar and communication skills. I have a B.A. from a large University and consider myself an incredibly smart person, but making the choice to attend Brown Mackie was a poor financial and educational discussion. It is my largest regret. Clinical sites are horrible and facilities think Brown Mackie is a joke. They are correct. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! This school is disorganized and no one has a clue what is going on!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Worst Experience ever!!!! Thanks for nothing BMC.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
They lied when I called them. I asked if they had personal trainer schooling they said yes. When i went in they said no and tried to put me in classes that i didn't want. Worst experience ever.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Going to this school was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. I have had more bad experiences than good. They do not follow through on anything they have promised except for getting your money. That seems to be the only thing they lift a finger for. I tried to give the school the benifit of the doubt, but I am constantly dissapointed in their services. I would not recommend anyone to go to this school unless some changes are made from top to bottom, from the inside out.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
