Brookdale Community College graduation rate is below the national average.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Brookdale Community College is 21:1, that means that for every 21 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

I'm a transfer from Cornell due to financial reasons I came to brookdale thinking it was a great college. I have heard a lot and read a lot so I thought it would be something I could do until I can go back to Cornell but it was a big mistake. The professors here could care less about you, they will take 2 weeks to answer your emails, the curriculum they have you do has nothing to do with the class nor help you towards your future. I was absent from a class do to a medical emergency and I recieved zeros on the work I missed that day. I came in with the work that I was supposed to do the day I was absent and the lovely teacher told me she wouldn't take it. After I spent hours doing it. I came from a 4.0 to a 2.7. The way things in this college are done is ridiculous. Instead of building your future they wreck it. I was better taking out a loan every semester for Cornell. It's not worth it to go to this college, although the price is manageable for some people the education you get is like trailer park ed.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Amazing campus, a lot of parking spaces. Best place to save money the first two years of collegeSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I went to Brookdale Community College only because it’s close to my house. All the staff, registrations, counselor and teacher are not professional at all. The Counselor puts me wrong class two times( really bad experience, but no one cares) and wasted of my time. Registration’s office, they don’t give exact answers and keep telling me talk to this person or that person makes me so confused. Finally, The teacher( I don’t know how to become a teacher) cursed during the class and change the subject every second (jumping this and that) Can’t concentrate during the class. I need to go a college for my higher-education, but they seem like” non- professional groups “ for me. This is second time trying and both experienced came out “terrible”. Oh I forgot one more thing, The staff at the registration and window for payment who wear glasses woman yelled at my friend because she didn’t understand what she said. Now i am looking for better services and quality. I don’t need to pay to brookdale getting this kind of services.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I got my associates here before going on to get my Bachelor's of Science at a 4 year University. The teachers at Brookdale are amazing, and most are genuinely invested in their students education and success. The teachers were often better than what I experienced at my 4 year University, where professors are focused on research and not the students. Going here first was the best decision I could have made, for both my education and my wallet.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
