Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Brighton Institute of Cosmetology is 6:1, that means that for every 6 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Brighton Institute of Cosmetology
I love coming here to get any services done, ESPECIALLY my brows. I really get nervous for my brows because I have a nice shape and I want them cleaned up, and they get it perfect every time. They don't take too much off, are high quality, and take their time getting those small little outliers. It really makes a huge difference. It is why I choose them every time. Their prices also can't be beat. I also get my hair colored and cut here. I've been going here for years!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I went here to get beauty treatments before my birthday and they were amazing. I asked for my upper lip and brow waxed and false lashes to start. The girl kept explaining everything she was doing and asking if it felt alright. Then I got a mani and pedi and they helped me pick out the perfect colors to match my outfit. Then I got my hands dipped in parrafin wax which made them feel so much better. Then my hair cut and baylage dye. They even figured a way to fix my hair which was less drying and damaging for it. All in all amazing and can’t wait to go back.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I went here a couple months ago to get an angled bob (about 8 inches cut off) and it was the right length but it was sooo uneven! She even got help from one of the teachers there so I thought it would turn out okay, but no. I get home later that night to take a shower to find out that I had a long tail of hair 3 inches longer than where the ends of my bob were. I also asked for layers so it didn't look so choppy and thick but that didn't happen. Not only did I ask for this, I also wanted my eye brows done. I don't know if the girl just didn't know how to do eyebrows or that the wax she used just was horrible, but my eye brows were still over grown, red and untamed still. The only thing I got out of the waxing was sticky eyebrows. An overall bad experience. Not to mention my mother has beautiful long blonde hair and she wanted some long layers and it's looks so bad. Like a child did it. She went to a new lady and the lady told us that whoever did our hair, shouldn't be doing hair. Granted they have affordable prices, but you get what you pay for.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I've been getting my hair cut here for over two decades. Always pleased with my hair cuts.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I don't recommend it. I have been to other beauty schools before and understand they are students, but I absolutely hated it. She took way more off than she even told me she was. Then for the flat iron, no heat products were put in my hair. Nothing is the same length either. Disappointed.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
