BYU-Idaho is the best thing to ever happen to me. It is a great university with a great environment. Every class is opened with a prayer which I didn't really like at first but I have grown to love it. Most teachers are very understanding of all kinds of circumstances and the classes are small enough that the teachers actually try to get to you know. It is just a very caring environment compared to other universities. Like others have said, the academic advising center and the financial aid center are run by a bunch of students who have no idea what they're doing which is quite frustrating but you will get help eventually just probably not as quickly as you'd want. The health center is also really hard to get ahold of and not very helpful but all schools have their down falls. Overall, BYUI is a great university. It has the lowest tuition you will ever find but also a quality education. They do have an intense honor code in some aspects but if you can't follow it and want to complain about it, go somewhere else. The honor code is put in place to keep students safe.

Honestly my experience at this school is better than I could've imagined. Having a school that is student oriented makes all the difference for science majors. Professors are focused on students rather than research.

Make sure if you are coming to this awesome campus to go to a receptionist desk and ask for a tour. They have students majoring and so they are happy to put their skills to the test. I was amazed how polite and happy the majority of students were.

I would NEVER recommend this school. We learned the hard way. I’ve had 2 children and a son in law go to the school. This school is dishonest. Each of our children ha e been told that they’ve met the requirements for graduation. However, they’ve all been told they have one more class. The school doesn’t have a professional academic advisement department. They are staffed fully by students and they change from term to term.My daughter was told that when she completed her internship that she would have graduated. She just called the school and AGAIN they’ve told her she she needed another class. They are dishonest at worst and inept at best. Go somewhere else

Have been a student since Fall 2018. Teachers are helpful and friendly and only want their students to succeed. There are many campus run events that stop students from getting bored. Buildings are taken care of and clean. Grounds are always immaculate. The Crossroads cafeteria is cheap.
