Overall Rating:

My daughter went to the ER department for chest heaviness and shortness of breath. She had blood work performed which showed an abnormal d dimer. A follow up CT was performed. The physician DID NOT return to her room to discuss CT results. A nurse was sent in to discharge her and he said her CT was normal. I feel like the doctor should have come back and assessed her arms and legs for any swelling redness or tenderness. Very disappointing.

I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism back in January and since then my body rejected all the medications given to me (not at all the doctors fault). I was put on a new medication and was told to look out for a few symptoms and it ended up with my endocrinologist telling me to go to the ER. When i got to the ER they got me back instantly due to my heart rate being so high (my resting heart rate was at 177). It was a little overwhelming because there were nurses, lab techs, doctors, all coming in all at once it seemed like, but all they were doing was there job. Within 2 hours though they had all my labs and x-rays back had a diagnoses and i was already being transported to ICU. Everyone was so nice and caring and very informative. I loved every single nurse i got in the time of my stay and absolutely loved my doctors.
