Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Barrett and Company School of Hair Design is 12:1, that means that for every 12 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Student Reviews and Ratings for Barrett and Company School of Hair Design
I would do zero stars if possible. I came to get a root touch up and to have my hair re-toned. I walked in a platinum blonde and walked out a grey something. when I told them what was wrong I was told it was my fault that in the picture I showed them I was that color. Not only did I show then multiple pictures of my hair but I even had the name and number of the toner I used. There is no excuse for this. They also refused to do anything to fix it. Toner is only meant to be in your hair for 5 minutes as the most my toner was left in for 30 minutes. Also, after 30 minutes they still failed to have the toner cover my whole head. They said that I told the instructor that I wanted to be grey even though i did not talk to any instructor. Also, the student repeatedly left me. she had poor costumer service skills. She didn't even tell me her name. Luckily I was able to get in to a salon that took the grey out but I am forced to be my natural color due to the damage they did to my hair. They also made me pay for it. Worst service everSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I've been here several times and only once did i actually like my hair. This past time i asked for my hair to be cut to my mid-neck and instead the student cut it to my chin and left several long pieces. She also angled my hair which I did not ask for and made it super uneven.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Came in at 3:47 waited around 5 mins just to be told they couldn't cut my hair. Mind you i am a man wanting just a trim. The workers have gotten lazy. The place smell badly of smoke inside. I don't know if it was the worker at the front desk but smelled badly. I came out nose running. Don't go to this place save yourself time unless you want to be disappointed.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
They cut my daughter's hair very well, but even better they somehow get her to relax enough to actually cut it...Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I go there for myself and my son. They do a great job every time! And they are fantastic with my 3 year old during his hair cut. I'll never stop going! :)Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
