Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Baltimore Studio of Hair Design is 25:1, that means that for every 25 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Student Reviews and Ratings for Baltimore Studio of Hair Design
The ladies there are always friendly and for them to be students, they always do great work!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! THE LADY AT THE FRONT WINDOW IS VERY RUDE I WENT TO GET A TOUCH UP AND SHE SENT A LADY OUT TO TRY TTO CONVINCE ME I DIDNT NEED ONE. I WAS CONFUSED BECAUSE LITTLE DID SHE KNOW I KNEW WHAT I NEEDED DONE TO MY HEAD. SHE WAS ALSO VERY RUDE AND SEEMED FRUSTRATED WHEN I TOLD HER THIS. WHEN I FINALLY GOT TO THE BACK IT WAS A MALE THAT SERVICED ME. WHILE I WAS GETTING MY HAIR DONE , I ASKED MY HAIRDRESSER TO GIVE ME A TRIM. AS HE WAS PERFORMING THE TRIM.. THE RUDE LADY FROM THE FRONT AND APPROACHED MY HAIRDRESSER INSTEAD OF ME TO TELL HIM THAT I HAD TO PAY EXTRA FOR A TRIM. I thought that come with it? Also A MAN NAMED DARYL (I believe) APPROACHED MY HAIRDRESSER AND PROCEEDED TO PICK WITH HIM ABOUR HIS HOURS AND THINGS THAT I (AS THE CLIENT) SHOULD HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF. THE YOUNG MAN WAS PAYING HIM NO MIND TRYING TO IGNORE HIM BUT HE CONTINUED TO PICK SO THE YOUNG MAN AND HIM EXCHANGED A FEW WORDS AND HE LET MY HAIRDRESSER FINISH MY HAIR AND SENT HIM HOME. I LOVED MT HAIR BUT THAT PLACE IS LIKE A JAIL. THATS HOW THE PEOPLE WHO ATTEND EXPLAIN IT AS WELL. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I enjoy going here to get my hair done. The students and teachers are all so nice and welcoming and they make sure you're satisfied with your hair style. I know you will leave here looking fabulous just like I do.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I was a student years ago and the teachers or instructor's was always on the clinical floor to help the students. I was taught to always please my patron or client so if she or he was satisfied I would do what ever it takes to get it right even if it meant getting another student to finish all to satisfy the patron.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I am a current student of Baltimore studio of hair design and I have been welcomed with open loving arms as a student they make you feel at home in all honesty I feel that I have been well treated respected for who I am and I have formed a family with the students and staff there. I had the option of going to Empire beauty School, regency beauty Institute, and plenty of others but I am glad that I came here and I am still a current student I graduate on January 12, 2017 and I honestly can say that the school feels like home. I am learning all of what I need in order to successfully thrive in the beauty industry at this school I highly recommend Baltimore studio hair design. -Sofia CelesteSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
